Volume 1, Number 8
It is hard to believe that we are only a few days away from the Christmas Holidays. It seems the older I get the faster the years go by. Hopefully, you are not like me and have all your Christmas shopping done by now and haven’t waited until the last minute to try to find something for your wife. I am still hoping to find that special present for her!!
Ideally everyone will be able to take the time to spend with your families over the Christmas Holidays. The holiday season is a very special time of the year especially if you have young children at home. If I could make a suggestion----when your family is opening their Christmas presents, just stop and watch your kids open theirs. They grow up so fast and you will never forget the look on their faces when they open up something for which they have been wishing. Take the time.
Purina Better Animals is the new program that will be replacing the Purina Gold and the Purina Cattle Drive programs in 2007. The complete information on this new program is still coming to us. We can answer some of the questions you may have, but I really encourage you to attend the Retail Solutions Expo in Phoenix in February. They will present the complete program to everyone at that time, so it is very important for you to attend.
MERRY CHRISTMAS to all, and have a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Cow/Calf Mineral Supplementation
Various mineral elements are needed by animals to support life. These minerals are essential to certain physiologically important systems within the body and can only be provided through the diet. If not provided in the basal ingredients of the diet (eg., hay grass, grains or water), supplementation of these minerals is required.
