I recently attended the Retail Solutions Expo in San Antonio. What a great learning event! I was somewhat of a sponge at the Expo as I took in as many of the training sessions as I could. I especially enjoyed the Better Animals and Reach update session in which was presented plans for new programs in the future. I also attended a show feed session that was presented by Kevin Burgoon. Because of the growth of show feed sales and its huge impact on the Lifestyle Feed business in our area, it was good to hear updates on that important market segment.
In this newsletter, you will find information about the February 2008, expo that will be held in Palm Springs, California. Think about it-----going to Palm Springs in February to attend a business meeting. Motel rooms will fill up fast, so I would suggest you make your reservations now. Many of the retailers I work with plan to take their families and spend a few extra days. The weather will surely be nicer in Palm Springs than in either Iowa or Nebraska in February!!!
