Hello everyone!
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday. As we celebrated Thanksgiving, I realized that we have many things to be thankful for in this country -- so many that we often overlook them. Thank your employees and your customers . . . they are the reason you are in business. Most of all, thank your family!
We have new opportunities for training at the Retail Expos in 2008. February
5 – 7 in Palm Springs, CA will have training on Inventory Management, Point of
Sale systems for your business, trends in technology, and more. Get registered
now, hotels are filling fast! Registrations are due January 3, 2008.
August 19 – 21, 2008 will be in Nashville, TN and will be “Marketing Your Store”
driven! (See details in Calendar section below).

Purina Mills/University of Nebraska Equestrian Academy
This academy is an adult education program designed to help horse
owners to become more knowledgeable. Held every Tuesday night January 22nd thru
February 26th,
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Chase Hall, UNL East Campus. The Equestrian Academy
is a joint partnership with Purina Mills and the University of Nebraska
Extension Service. DVD's also available for

Create Store Traffic -- Plan A Christmas Event!
Looking for a great Holiday event to attract customers in your
store? "Pet Portrait Pictures With Santa" is an excellent attraction to
get current and new customers in your store for the holidays. Customers
love buying gifts for their family pets and getting pictures taken -- Holly
Rosner sent in a photo from a recent event from one of her dealers.

successful for our Dealers; one Dealer explained that he gets customers in the
store for the photo shoot and then gets them back a second time to pick
up their pictures. Store traffic is what it is all about!
