What an exciting time it is to be involved in the Lifestyle Feed business!!! We have so many great events and activities currently taking place that is hard to keep up with them all; however, that is a good problem. Our challenge is to get all the new products and programs implemented correctly in order to take full advantage of them.
The new Red Flannel line will start rolling out within the next couple of weeks. Many of you should have received a flyer on this new product line in the mail. Some of you will be receiving display information, product training material and a voucher for a very lucrative initial stocking offer. Also, please take the time to review the Red Flannel section of this newsletter as we have tried to provide you with the most up-to-date information about this exciting new product line.

Diamond Pet Foods has issued details regarding certain products containing rice
protein concentrate that were recalled. (Neither rice protein
concentrate nor wheat gluten has ever been included in any product provided to
Land O'Lakes by the Diamond Pet Food Company.)

Country Acres 18% Price Correction
Please note that Country Acres 18% (product code 0010629) is incorrect on the
April, 2007 pet food price list. Please

coming, but will probably not be available until May. However, the correct
price has been made in the system.
Altosid Fly Control
Altosid is used in Land O'Lakes Purina Feeds products for
feed-through fly control for beef cattle. It is available in cooked tubs,

Spring Feed Displays / Feed On The Floor!
Remember that dog and cat food is always great for building
displays, and horse feed is a real natural in the spring. Your
customers do not know what's in your warehouse -- get it out on the floor right
in front of them! The spring season is a great time to promote your horse
and livestock feeds. You can't always talk to every customer who comes in
the store -- let your displays talk for you when you are not available.
And always remember that feeding wild birds is the second largest hobby in the
country -- spring is a great time to promote your wild bird line, and you can
promote along with any allied products you may carry like bird baths, bird
feeders and bird houses.
