Pet Food Price Increase Coming in February

Anticipating the Pet Food price increase which will be coming in February, you may want to order significant inventory of your pet food products NOW so that you can take advantage of January prices.  Orders need to be shipped and billed before February 4th . . . so place any orders you may need as soon as possible.  .  (If you wait too late in January to order and the product shipment is delayed, the order could be billed at the higher price in effect in February.)

With ingredient prices for pet foods continuing to increase as the result of volatility in the grain, fat and protein markets, this price increase has become necessary.  This price increase will affect Exclusive, Red Flannel, Achieve, and Country Acres pet foods.  To view more details concerning the affected products, Click Here.

Winter Feeding Recommendations for Koi

For customers raising koi, be sure they understand the benefits of the Mazuri® Koi Platinum diets for the koi's winter care.  In an effort to provide the freshest, best quality koi diets, Mazuri® recommends the use of the highly digestible Mazuri® Koi Platinum diets for winter use.

Feeding rates will decline as water temperature declines. Once water temperature falls below 70o F (21.1o C), only offer food one time per day. Feed only what the koi will consume in 3 - 5 minutes -- do not overfeed. Remove any uneaten food after 5 minutes. When water temperature drops into the low 40'so F (4.4o C), discontinue feeding.

Resume feeding the Platinum diets once water temperature returns to the mid 40'so F.

For more information on Mazuri® Koi Platinum diets, visit our Mazuri® website at  www.mazuri.com.
