It’s HOT!! I’m not just talking about the weather!!! The sales opportunities that are there for us are just as smok’n as the weather. It is county fair time, and no better chance to get out and promote show feeds, as well as chicken, goat, rabbit and horse!! Land O’ Lakes Purina has already had a very successful show season, and the champions just keep coming. Make sure you alert your feed rep of local winners, so we can get some pictures. I’m going to be putting together a “Winners' Results” paper, and the more pictures of 2007 winners, local, state, regional, or national, the better the program and the more impressive it will be as a sales tool. Also, continue to promote those show feeds, as there will be a lot of high quality Land O'Lakes Purina feed livestock going to state fairs!
We have an excellent line of fish products to sell, and I’m putting a focus on fish hatcheries. Contact me about local hatcheries that you may want to approach and sell.
Sign-ups for our fall horse promotion are arriving and need to be completed. Contact me with your plans for fall horse events, so we can schedule them, and put them on the web site!
Got Deer?? We have some new exciting deer products on the market under the Woodland name, and more products to come soon. This is a booming market, and along with the fish opportunities, I would like to work with you all to capture some of this market.
Stay cool, but turn up the heat on the feed marketing promotions and events.
